The next thing I would do is give the reindeer holidays for a couple of months then Christmas take off. I would not give coal or bad gifts, but to law breakers I would. The last thing I would do is decorate the sleigh so you can see it fly by in style by the end of my time there will be changes. Brandon Dorssers Grade 6, Seaforth Public School If I were Santa, I would let every- one in the world see me to get a boost on the Christmas spirit. I would also help the elves change the smoke alarms because we had tons of toy delays and they are too short to reach the smoke alarms with they're short stubby legs. Also, I would build a new sleigh. My old one is getting a bit rusty on the edges and it's fall= ing apart. Finally, I would try to move the work- shop onto a differ- ent iceberg. Under the old workshop, the ice is melting and it's getting all the chidlren's toys wet. Oh what to do!? I would let people come to the North Pole to visit me and the reindeer and the elves. I would make sure everyone has Christmas spirit all around the world by com- ing to their town and giving them a present. I would write letters back to the children that sent me a letter. I would make sure everyone would love this exciting Christmas year. Alexis McNicol Grade 6, Seaforth Public School If I were Santa, I would build the biggest and most slippery ice rink in the whole world. I would also drink lots of nice and thick hot chocolate from my favourite "Frosty the Snow- man" mug. I would eat all of the rich and chewy chocolate chip cookies that melt in my mouth! I would find the steepest hill around and go down on my sleigh every night. Every day af- ter lunch, my extremely happy elves and I would have a friendly snowball fight before getting back to the work- shop. I would also spend lots of time trying to make the North Pole into a life sized replica of "Candy Land." But the best thing will be trying to make the world's biggest and most slippery snow fort/igloo. Russell MacDonald Grade 6, Seaforth Public School If I were Santa, I would turn the North Pole into the biggest most ex- citing amusement park in the world. I would live in a five star hotel with a 94 inch flat screen tv in my room. I would have a balcony with a div- ing board and a pool. There would be a five star restaurant that I would have all to myself. The reindeer would have heated stalls with king- sized beds and room service.
