Radars' three game winning streak comes to an end with loss to Thedford The Clinton Radars three game winning streak came to a screeching halt in Thedford on Saturday night. The Radars looked slow and uninterested even from the pre -game warm up and it showed when the Dirty Dogs scored just 17 seconds in to the game. Thedford built up a 4-0 lead before Tyler Elligsen scored with 8:28 left in the third pe- riod. Three minutes later, Jamie Jongsma scored his first goal of the season to get the Radars within two. There would be no miracle come= back as the Dogs scored an empty netter late to seal the 5-2 win. The Radars showed that a team can't simply decide to play hard for the final 10 minutes and expect to somehow overcome a 4 goal deficit. They need to be on top of their game for the entire 60 minutes if they want to be victorious. The' Radars (4-6-2) next home game is this Friday, Dec.4, when they host the Goderich Pirates (3-8-0) at 8:30 pm. On Saturday, Dec.5 the Radars travel to Tillsonburg to battle the first place Thunder (8-3-0) at 7:30 pm.
