Memories of Grade 8 will be with,you for a lifetime

J: Can you believe it! We made it!
The end of grade 8 is finally here.
A: It seems like almost yesterday we
came back from summer holidays,
ready to start Grade 8 and to be the
oldest in the school. We have come a
long way from when we were in Kin-
dergarten to now.
J: We didn't all start school togeth-
er
A: Some of us were the final Kinder-
garten class at Walton Public School
and some of our class mates have
moved away but some of you have
moved here to SPS.
J: We have all had to change our
schools throughout our elementary
years from the old SPS on Market
St. to here, the new SPS
A: Or the old high school as some of
our parents remember it.
J: This year we enjoyed many differ-
ent things. Cross country, soccer, vol-
leyball, basketball, track and field
and baseball
A: lb top off our whole year we went
to Camp Celtic. Nothing but four
days of straight fun. We made a lot
of new friends and have many great
memories
A: Like when Craig and William fell

J: Or having to do crazy things like
eating a spoonful of ketchup and
mustard
A: Or spelling your name with your
butt, just because you had your el-
bows on the table.
J: Our trip wouldn't have been pos-
sible without Mrs. Reynolds.
A: She is a great teacher to put up
with 46 crazy Grade 8's like us
J: About the graduates of 2009.
A: Tab, Abbey, Jessie and Brit-
tany are always wearing the latest
fashions and are always hanging
around.
J: Our class clowns Johnny, Ethan,
Tyson and Craig who will always get
a smile or laugh out of you each day.
A: Emily, Ashley W./ Lana, and Adri-
ana are always talking about Twi-
light and always have a smile about
something.
J: Then there is Kurtis and William.
They are the guys that everyone can
hang around with and will always be
around for a good laugh.
A: Jade is always keen to start a
new project and has a vast amount
of ideas for different subjects.
J: Michael and Darcy, these two boys
are good friends and are always play-
ing basketball.
A: Dustin is known for his great bas-
ketball skills and is a good math-
ematician.
J: Zack always finds a way to have
fun, even though Mrs. Reynolds is
always asking for unfinished home -
'work.
A: Joe and Mackenzie are both ath-
letic, hockey in winter. Soccer for Joe
and lacrosse for Mackenzie in the
summer. Always chatting sports.
J: Ashley and Melissa are best buds.
They are always together and very
athletic.
A: Sammy. and Amber always have
something to talk about from the lat-
est gossip to their friends.
J: Macaulay is a good goalie in hock-
ey and is always happy.
A: Jordan Button is our skateboarder
and has a competitive side to him.
J: Jordan Menary can be found on
the basketball court either setting
plays up or finishing them.
A: Christina is a good athlete, likes
curling and has a passion for music.
J: Owen is a faithful leafs fan and
always keeps smiling. Even if the
Leafs lose.
A: Sandra is always giggling and has
a big smile on her face.
J: Josh can make your day memora-
ble from jokes or just the things that

and can always find a way to make

great listeners, they -are always there

A: Leah is a good artist and has a
great imagination.
J: Miranda always has her work
done and has the nickname Milo
A: Sam Butt is good at sports and al-
ways completes his work on time.
J: Both Joe CS and Joe G always find
a way to stress out the teachers with
their unfinished work.
A: Julie always knows what's going
on.
J: Marissa tends to talk a lot but she
knows a lot of things.
A: And last but not least there is
Matt, the dirtbike king.
J: We can't stand here today with-
out recognition of our teachers and
staff.
A: Mr. Steinacker, Mrs. Hoover, Ms.
Carnochan, Mrs. Devereaux, Mrs.
Peach, Mrs. Barclay,, our great cus-
todians but especially without the
guidance of Mrs. Spillane and Mrs.
