basketball sharpshooters who took to the court Feb. 4, during
the 2009 Knights of Columbus Free Throw championship at
the St., James School gym.
Students ages nine to 13 from St. James School and Seaforth
Public School participated, with each given 15 tries from the
free-throw line.
The winners in each category are:
Boys age nine: Jared Smith, Seaforth Public School.
Boys age 10: Bradley Vincent, Seaforth Public School
Boys age 11: Joey Fonseca, St. James School.
Boys age 12: Logan Lammerant, St. James School..
Boys age 13: Michael Kelly, Seaforth Public School.
Girls age nine: Shanna Cardno, Seaforth Public School.
Girls age 10: Sarah Menary, Seaforth Public School.
Girls age 11: Sarah Devereaux, St. James School.

"Both of these skaters were up against tough
competition. Their hard work and dedication really
proved to be successful," said Lynn Beuermann,
president of the Seaforth Figure Skating Club.
"The Seaforth Skating club is proud of the accom-
plishments of our skaters and are looking forward
to more great results on Feb. 27 - March 1 at the
Pat Abela Memorial Invitational in Windsor, Ont.,"
she said.
