ZWEP, Aafke: Aafke (de Vries) Zwep of Brussels passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Hu- ronlea Home for the Aged.Born in the Netherlands on October 9th, 1921, Aafke was in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Zwep (1979). Dear mother of Atje Tuyten and husband Cherlie of Stratford, Harry Zwep and his wife Natalie of Mis- sissauga, Annette Lewington and her husband Ernie of RR 2, Brussels, George Zwep and his wife Jane of RR 2, Brussels and Jerry Zwep and hig wife Sandra of RR 2 Brussels. Dear sister of Ann Groenveld and her husband Andy of Ripley and Ninke de Vries of Holland. Also loved by her grandchildren Dwayne, Kim, Nicole, Lea, Dave, Jeff, Danica, Randy, Nicl Cole, Mike and Laura and her 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers, a sister and her grandson Jacob. Friends were received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home wherethe service was conducted on Monday, February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. officiated by -Pastor Elly Dow. Remembrances of Aafke were given .by her daughter Atje and son Harry. Pall- bearers were. Aafke's grandchildren with inter- ment in the spring in Brussels Cemetery. "The more people we - can get involved, the better," says Melissa Sparling of Varna, the new president of the club. 444'4" "Alot of people our age are rooking for ways to have an impact on the community while hav- ing fun and meeting new people," she says. The Junior Farmer mission is "to build future rural leaders airough self-help and community better- ment."
