good opportunity to train
graduate students," he
says.
Russell-Minda says the
Lawson study will involve
kinesiology grad students
and organizers are hop-
ing to eventually create
a training program for
clinical kinesiology at the
Gateway Institute.

Dr. Robert Petrella, who,
says Munoz, became very
excited about studying a
rural population once he
learned from Munoz about
the Gateway Institute.
"Almost every academic
investigator I talk to gets
excited about looking at
research in rural com-
munities. When I told
him (Petrella) what we're
building in Seaforth, he
immediately realized the
potential of a . collabo-
ration and he was glad
we're building the infra-
structure in a rural com-
munity," says Munoz.
Huron East
agrees to share
of ABCA budget

But, the agreement came with the
complaint that with current econom-

I'll make the same argument at the
county. Somewhere it's got to stop,"
said Mayor Joe Seili at a Huron East
council meeting.
"If we continue like this, we're go-
ing to be like they are in the States,"
he said.
Deputy -Mayor Bernie MacLellan
jumped on an 11.5 per cent increase
in the wages section of the ABCA
budget.
But, ABCA General Manager Zbm
Prout quickly explained that the staff
received a three per cent increase in
wages. The (remainder was caused by
changes in the number of people on
staff, many of the positions funded
100 per cent by the province through
the Source Water Protection project.
Prout also pointed out that the
ABCA board had already done enougti
cost cutting to bring an original 15.
per cent increase down to an overall
increase of 4.96 per cent.
