The Hensall South Huron
Agricultural Society. will meet on
Wednesday, Nov 14 at 7 p.m. in the
auditorium of Hensall Arena to
make plans for the 140th Annual
Hensall Spring Fair to be held on
June 13-14.
The Hensall United Church
Anniversary Service will be held on
Nov 18. at 10 a.m. The guest speak-
er will be Rev. John Hoberts of
Belgrave.
There will be special music with
members of the old choir. Donna St.
John will be the soloist. Everyone
welcome.
The Hensall and Community
Horticultural Society pot -luck sup-
per will be held at Hensall United
Church on Nov. 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Turkey and potatoes will be sup-
plied. The guest speaker will be
Kari Sue MacLean.
Remembrance Day Service was
held at Carmel Presbyterian
Church.
Veterans, Legion members,
municipal officials, and Guides and
Scouts attended the service.
Rev. Andy Meinen was the minis-
ter, assisted by Rev Keith Lewis.
Sharing their musical talents were
Joyce Pepper, Dorothy Taylor,
soloist Amanda Meinen, and the
choir of Pat Pollock, Bev Moir, Marg
Baker, Marilyn Campbell, Lola
Nixon, and Marg Varley.
The sermon was "Remember." The
offering was received by Harry
Moir, Frank Varley, and Robert Bell.

wreath on behalf of Queensway
during the Remembrance Day
Service Sunday, Nov. 11. at the
Hensall cenotaph.
Later in the evening they
appreciated attending the
Remembrance Day Community
Supper.
Nov. 4, residents and visitors
gathered for the monthly tea
party. Delicious piping hot tea,
coffee and refreshments are
served at the monthly event
held in the dining room that
promotes pleasant socializing
for residents and guests on a

each Monday afternoon in

Auxiliary volunteers .met

The volunteers are also look-
ing forward to attending the
Dementia 2007 workshop Nov.
13 at the Betty Cardno Centre
in Clinton organized by the

Coffee and News started the
day Thursday when residents
gathered to peruse the weekly
and daily papers offering their
thoughts and opinions on a vari-
ety of issues. Pat Bolen's piece
about the holidays certainly
drew agreement from those pre-
sent.
Residents benefitted from
music therapy 'with Lisa
Stewart Friday morning as her
small group
gathered in the
lounge followed
by one on one
therapy for sev-
eral others
throughout the
morning.
Everyone
especially wel-
comes Lisa's
piano music
during the noon
meal when she
plays a collec-
tion of
favourites.
