At Carmel Presbyterian Church
Tracy Whitson-Bahro was the
mimister with Joyce Pepper playing
the organ.
The offering was received by
Robert Bell and Harry Moir. Marg
Baker gave the Lenten reading.
A pot -luck lunch was enjoyed fol-
lowing the service.
At Hensall United Church Bill
Gibson was the organist. Janice and
Garry Alderdice were the ushers
with Kay Mock lighting the candle
and giving the reading.
Rev. Keith Lewis conducted the
service. Evelyn Elder looked after
the children.
Open house will be held at the
church on Wednesday, March 28 to
welcome the new minister, Rev.
Keith Lewis, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7
to 9 p.m. Everyone•welcome.

Seaforth Manor begins facelift
Happy Easter

Seaforth Manor
Retirement
Residence.
It's finally time to say "goodbye to
the snow and hello Spring."
Residents enjoyed the readings and
hymn sings with Fred and Grace
Munnings.
Some of the events that were
enjoyed by the residents last month
include Diner's Club and Dance
with Grant Ellison as entertain-
ment, weekly bingo, Marie Flynn,
Kountry Korners Band and The
Western Entertainers.
March was a very hectic month.
Welcome to all of our new residents
in March which includes Patricia
O'Reilly, Cecilia Ryan, Alice Reid,
Ted Cosford, Lois Learn, Elgin Nott,
Neil Govenlock, Kathleen Yallop,

ings on each Friday with Fred and
Grace at 3:45 p.m. We will also be
taking a trip to the Seaforth Bake
Shop on April 7 for tea. We will be
sure to wear our Easter bonnets.
The Seaforth Manor Retirement
Residence facelift has been started.
The hallway carpet will be installed
the week of March 26 and walls in
hallways will be painted before the
baseboard goes on. We thank you
all for your patience during this
process.
Easter services fast approaching
Easter is
approaching fast.
Good Friday will
hold services as mentioned in the
bulletin - St. Patrick's Dublin, at 11
a.m. and St. Vincent de Paul,
Mitchell at 3 p.m. •
Following the services, a Good
Friday Meatless Soup will be held.

Teresa Wilson, sister of Rita
Christie, died
recently.
• Some young
people received the Sacrament of
Reconciliation at St. Patrick's
Church on Tuesday, March 27.
