Close to $100 in
damage was done to
the Hensall Legion
and library during the
early morning hours of
Dec. 16.
The Christmas lights
were removed from the
front of both places
and beer bottles
smashed.

kind of "wish book" in her
Seaforth living room, Nel
Boven and her grandchildren
discuss what they want for
Christmas this year.
Chantelle, 10, is reminiscing
about the rabbits and the
three little pigs her
grandmother bought a few
years ago while Joshua, 14,
puts in a request for fish.
They're not talking about
stuffed animals, toys, books or
games.
The gifts are actual animals
from the World Vision
Christmas catalogue and will
be sent to a needy third world
country in Boven's
grandchildren's names.
"You don't know what to give
children these days so when I
got this catalogue for the first
time three years ago, I talked
it over with their parents and
decided to give my
grandchildren gifts out of the
catalogue, rather than the
usual gifts," she says.
Boven has 13 grandchildren
throughout Southwestern
