St. Patrick's Church, and St.
Vincent de Paul.
Unwrapped gifts for a boy or girl
(0-16 years of age) can be dropped

The families of William Lawrence Holman
and Christina Rose Hill are pleased to
announce their forthcoming marriage and
reception on Saturday, December 16, 2006
at Holmesville Community Centre.
Reception 8pm.
Paul C.W.L. held
a very successful
potluck
Christmas din-
ner on Dec. 12,
following a mass
at 6 p.m. Entertainment followed.
St. Patrick's C.W.L. thanks every-
one who took part in the annual
bake sale. Frank Verberne did an
excellent job as auctioneer.
Advent is a season of grace along
. with expectation and hope. Nearby
churches have set up suitable times
to receive the Sacrament of
Reconciliation.
On Friday, December lst, the
Seniors Alive group braved the tor-
rential rains and high winds to
attend the Walters Family
Christmas show at the beautiful
Sanderson Theatre in Brantford. On
the way they stopped at Will's
Christmas Tree Farm at Lynden. No
snow on the trees but lots of water
in the fields. The day ended with a
bountiful Christmas dinner•at
Quehl's Restaurant in Tavistock.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
True friends are like good books.
