Radars improve to 11-3 with Friday win over Jets
The Clinton Radars hand-
ed the first place Lucan-
Ilderton Jets just their sec-
ond regulation loss of the
season (both to the Radars)
last Friday night in Clinton.
The Radars, now 11-3, are
trying to gain ground on the
Jets (12-2-1). The problem
is, no one else has been able
to beat the Jets and help out
the Radars.
The Radars opened the
scoring against the Jets 1:56
into the game on Mark
VanDooren's powperplay
goal.
The Jets . then stormed
back with two power play
goals in the span of 1:44.

Midway through the sec-
ond period, VanDooren's sec-
ond goal of the game evened
the score at 2-2.
With 1:59 left to play in the
period, Scott Henderson
scored to put the Radars up
by one goal heading into the
final period.

made it 5-2.
Lucan-Ilderton tried to
mount a comeback as they
scored twice to make it a
one goal game and then had
a puck hit the crossbar with
one second left.
Chuck Robertson picked
up the win in goal. Adam
Leonhardt collected two
assists, while Matt
Anderson, Luke Vick, Craig
Smith, Wes Neild, Easter
and Grenier picked up one
each.
