Huron Expositor, 2006-12-13, Page 17The Huron Expositor • December 13, 2006 Page 17 Radars improve to 11-3 with Friday win over Jets The Clinton Radars hand- ed the first place Lucan- Ilderton Jets just their sec- ond regulation loss of the season (both to the Radars) last Friday night in Clinton. The Radars, now 11-3, are trying to gain ground on the Jets (12-2-1). The problem is, no one else has been able to beat the Jets and help out the Radars. The Radars opened the scoring against the Jets 1:56 into the game on Mark VanDooren's powperplay goal. The Jets . then stormed back with two power play goals in the span of 1:44. • Midway through the sec- ond period, VanDooren's sec- ond goal of the game evened the score at 2-2. With 1:59 left to play in the period, Scott Henderson scored to put the Radars up by one goal heading into the final period.
