at lighting ceremony

As Cavan had the 11 a.m.
service, a potluck lunch fol-
lowed. On Dec. 3, the time of
service is back to the regular
time of 9:30 a.m. It is also
Communion and White Gift
Sunday.
A good number from
the area enjoyed the
Harmony Kings'
Concert at Northside
on Sunday afternoon.
The Seaforth
Hospital Auxiliary•
held their annual tree
lighting ceremony on
Sunday. The enter-
tainment portion was
provided by the
Winthrop Quartet,
accompanied by
Marjorie Papple
on keyboard and
Andrew Patrick,
Orville Storey and Murray
and Sherry McCall on vio-
lins. The weather cooperated
nicely for all these events.
The fifth Sawmill Road
Farm Machinery Christmas
Parade will be held next
Saturday evening starting at
5:30 p.m.
