Baking and crafts started for bazaar
Another month has come
and gone at the Seaforth
Manor Retirement Home and
it certainly was a wet one.
We had a very busy
Thanksgiving weekend here.
We enjoyed a bus trip to
Niagara Falls on Saturday
followed by a wonderful
Thanksgiving dinner on
Sunday. What a fantastic
feast we had.
We also enjoyed going out
for breakfast this month to
Terry's. Our Diner's Club and
Dance went well with Brian
Seaf DTIII :iltuHH,r
Melady entertaining us after
we stuffed ourselves on
lasagna and caesar salad.
We've already started our
baking and making crafts for
our bazaar on Nov. 25.
Residents are working very
hard to have everything
ready on time.
We look forward to taking
some time out to go and
watch the Santa Claus
parade on Nov. 24:

Halloween treat
Rev. John's sermon at Cavan
United Church was titled "Taking
Love Seriously."
Greeters and collectors were
Murray and Sherry McCall. Each

After all this wet weather I'm sure
everybody, especially the farmers
are ready for a lengthy "Indian
Summer."
Bob and I visited with Pam, Zbdd
and Braedon MacDonald of Blyth on
Saturday evening. On the drive
home, about halfway to Walton, we
saw several flashes of light to the
north east. We still haven't found
out what it was but probably had
something to do with an area west
and tiouth of Walton and including
most of Walton being without hydro.
Don and Bonnie Twayford, of
Melbourne, visited Beatrice
Campbell on Saturday. Don is a
nephew of Beatrice's.

We continue to enjoy the
physio classes Michelle holds
for us three times a week. We
also enjoy Cindy and Urie on
Monday mornings for pet
therapy.
The Western Entertainers
came to have fun with us in
October. Nancy Stapleton
comes in every Tuesday
morning to play the piano for
us - she is just wonderful.
Our Open Doors was a huge
success and many people
worked very hard to give us
an exciting day as s we stepped
back in time.
