The Seaforth Optimist

Kids party Oct. 28 inside
Optimist Hall for kids ages
five to 12, from 1-2:30 p.m.
"I think they (the kids) all
enjoy it," says Optimist
member Deb Janmaat. "It's
always quite busy."
Janmaat says this year's
party will include many of
the crafts and games that
were popular last' year, such
as making mummies out of
toilet paper rolls for the
younger kids, and a Fear -
Factor -like game for the
older kids where they'll
have to identify strange
items with their hands.
Last year the event drew
around 60 kids, which was
higher than the previous
year's turnout, says
Janmaat, adding that they
hope for at least as many
kids this year.
There is no cost, however,
Janmaat says they would
