General Description
The Project Assistant position is a 20 -month, full-tirne contract
reporting to the Source Water Protection Project Manager. The
Project Assistant will support the Ausable Bayfield and Maitland
Valley Conservation Authorities in achieving the objectiyes as set
out in the Clean Water Act, Regulations, Guidelines and Policies
through providing technical writing, secretariat support to the
Source Protection Planning Committee, reporting and analysis of
Working Group participation, providing logistical support to the
Source Water Protection Project, coordinating office operations
of the SWP office including limited financial supports.
' Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in environment
or planning.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing and
undertake research projects and produce written reports.
• Experience and ability to produce clear concise analytical
reports of meetings.
• An excellent working knowledge of WORD, Microsoft Office,
Excel, and PC computers. Knowledge of web searching.
• Experience working in team environments
• Experience working with a variety of partners in the delivery of
programs and services.
Remuneration: $18.18 $21.18, based on a 35 -hour week
with occasional evening and weekend meetings. Detailed job

Dublin announce his sudden passing as the result
.of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday,

visitation was held at the Lockhart Funeral Home,
109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday from 2-4 p.m.
Friends were received Friday evening 7-9 p.m.
and on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of
Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick's
Roman Catholic Church, Dublin on Sunday at
2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Poulin - celebrant.
Commentator was Frank Verbeme. Readers were
Mark and Matt Feeney. Prayers of the Faithful
were given by Debbie Van Bakel and Katie Rolph.
Offertory bearers were Mark O'Rourke, Brad
Stacey, Jack O'Rourke and Luke O'Rourke. Brady
Nolan delivered the eulogy. Teammates on the
McKillop Louts ball team formed an Honour Guard
outside the church. Pallbearers were Steve
Poppe, Jeff Cronin, Rick Harburn, Chris
Vandervelde, Shane Murray and Kyle Bennewies.
Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dublin.
