birthday on the 15th.

er was beautiful for this
occasion.

Ryan French leads baseball team to
five wins in St. Thomas tournament
A fun baseball weekend was held
in St. Thomas for the try -outs for the
world's baseball tournament, to be
held in Kitchener on the weekend of
Aug. 8-16.
Jean Ryan's (of Dublin) grandson,
Ryan French, pitched awesome ball
leading his team to five straight
wins. Ryan plays for the Elmira
Cubs. Cheering Ryan and his team
were Marilyn, Al and Jen French,
Jean Ryan, Maureen, Kand

family from Scotland. Steven and
Marion, Ainsley and Gary, David
Lang, visited and stayed with the
Langs from Canada - Maureen, Mat,
Katie and Mandi. A welcome party
was held on July 1 to party and have
fun with Steven and Marion and
family. The rest of the two weeks
were .filled with good cheer, visiting
and sight-seeing.

Police respond to domestic
disturbance in Seaforth
Huron OPP responded to a family dispute in Seaforth on Aug. 8 at
approximately 11:30 p.m. Officers responded to find a 58 -year-old female
that was acting irrational and refusing to comply with request from the
police.
The woman was arrested for breach of peace and was returned to the
Huron detachment where she attended Goderich Provincial court for a bail
hearing Aug. 9. The woman faced one count of uttering threats.
