The executive includes Mike Smale, Pat DeJong, Ed Baker, Colin Young, Bob Carnochan and Doug Smale. The Ladies Auxiliary includes past president, Olave Little; presi- dent, Mary DeJong; first vice presi- dent, Ariel Wood; second vice presi- dent, Donelda Barry; secretary, Olave Little; trea- surer, Marg Ungarian and Sergeant at Arms, Maxine Marks. The executive includes Annie Sallows, Olive Broadfoot, Gayle Coleman, Fern Chesney and Barbara Cook. At our June meeting, seven new members were initiated by Comrades Jim Watson and Frank Golding. They were Adam Broome, Cheryle Harris, Ron Harris, Mark Kirkconnell and Mike Smale, as associate members and Donald Rueger and Keith Snell as non-vot- ing affiliate members. New stick -on poppies have been ordered and will be put on all veter- ans' stones as a tribute to their ser- vice. We welcomed Gord and Mary DeJong back to our meeting. To comrades Bill Durst and Jim Stotts and any of our members who are sick at this time, a speedy recovery. To the families of Barbara Scott and Don MacLean, our heartfelt condolences at this time. We will be having a busy time this July as we prepare to help the town celebrate Moonlite Madness on July 28 weekend. We will be having a dance by The Voo Doo Lounge (The Rolling Stones) in the capable hands of Mike Smale and crew. Also there will be a seniors' dance by the Red Rascals with Fern Chesney in charge. A Fish Fry with Brussels Legion catering will also be held. Much is going on so watch the paper for much more input in the weeks to come.
