this year's Marion
Drysdale award
from the Ontario
Secondary School
Teachers'
Federation
(OSSTF).
Responding to
the theme
"Thinking
Globally," the origi-
nal artwork by the
Central Huron
Secondary School
student created
"Across the World
in Two Kilometres."
"I wanted to
show a view of the
complexity of the
world we live in. , By
mixing a city land-
scape and a coun-
try landscape, I
hope to give people
a strong realization
of how many differ-
ent cultures are
really just one," she said on
the CHSS webpage about her
art.
