DIED IN STRATHROY.
On July 21st in Strathray there
passed away at they' age of 60 years,
William Spearman Corbett, formerly of
Bensley, McGillivray Tp. His re-
mains were interred in St. Marys ceme
tory at .Brinsley. The late Mr. Cor-
bett leaves behind to mourn his loss,
his widow, one daughter, Hannah, two
sons, Lorne and William,_ also three
brothers, George and Nathaniel of
Brinsley and Sylvgest•er of ABbertat

DEATH OF MRS. CRAWLEY,
The sad news of the death of Mrs;
George E. Crawley came with sorrow
and regret to a large circle of friends
here last week, she having passed away
at the home of her brother-in-law, Mr.
Herbert Webb, of the 6th concession
of London Tp., on Wednesday, July
25. airs, Crawley had been .ill for
some time but her condition was not
considered serious till a short time
previous 'to her death, when a
thorough examination was made, and
it was then, learned that she had (but
a short time to live, irnternal cancer
being •the cause of her trouble. On
two different occasions the. late Mr.
and Mrs. Crawley had made Exeter
their home, and during their residence
here had made many friends. Mrs:
Crawley was a member of the Trivitt
Memorial Church while here and took
a. deep interest in all church work.
Shortly after the death of Mr. Crawley
which took place on Marcia 23, 1921,
Mrs. Crawley moved to Lucan, and lat-
er to the place of her death, Her
remains v;cre interred beside those of',
her husband in Woodland Cemetery;
