TAYLOR, Russel: Mr. Robert Russel Taylor of Mitchell and formerly of
RR2, Staffa passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, April
15, 2006. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat (Macdonald) Taylor for 42
years. Dear father of Robert Taylor and wife Heather of Ailsa Craig, John
Taylor and wife Karen of Seaforth and Anne Scott and husband Colin of
Bowmanville; loving grandpa of Owen and Cora Taylor, Aidan Taylor and
Cameron Scott; dear brother of Jean Armstrong of Zurich, Bill (Chris) Taylor
of Proton Station, Elizabeth (Case) DeBrouwer of Egmondville, Bev (Terri
Taylor of Alberta, Dorothea (Ron) Williamson of Seaforth; dear brother-in-
law of Ruth Taylor of Benmiller; Ted (Pat) Macdonald, Maribeth (Barry)
Nevin, all of Mitchell, Joanne (Bill) Donaldson of Shakespeare, Jane
Dantzer, Tim Macdonald, Sherri (Bruce) Stevanus, all of Waterloo, Bill
Macdonald of Alberta. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Also remembered by Mary Lou Bolding of Alberta. Predeceased by -his
parents Garnet and Gertrude (McClure) Taylor, brother Clarence Taylor,
sister Myrtle Taylor, brothers-in-law Floyd Armstrong, Jack Taylor, Grant
Smith and Jerry Dantzer and sister-in-law Marg Taylor. Friends will be
received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on
Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Hibbert
United Church, Staffa on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Camillia
LaRouche officiating. Interment in Staffa Cemetery. Memorial donations to
the Ritz Villa Missing Link, Stratford General Hospital or C.C.A.C. would be

NICHOLSON, Gladys: Passed away suddenly at Stratford General Hospital
on Saturday, April 15, 2006. She resided in Listowel and was formerly of
Atwood. She was born 83 years ago in McKillop Township, a daughter of the
late Joseph and Susan (Checkley) Broome. Gladys was the beloved wife of
the late Norman Nicholson who predeceased her in 2000. She was the
sister of Spence Broome and Shirley Misner of Atwood, Joyce and Charlie
Gabel of Listowel, and will be remembered by her sister-in-law Shirley
Nicholson of Blyth .and by many nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by her brother Wilbert, her sisters Mildred and Marjorie and
her sister-in-law Marjorie Broome. Gladys' family invites relatives and
friends to share their memories at Peebles Funeral Home, 141 John Street,
Atwood, on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where
the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.
with Rev. Steven Cox officiating. Interment to follow in Maitlandbank
Cemetery, Seaforth. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to
Alzheimer Society or The Gideons International would be appreciated by the

Jocelyn Dawn. She was born on March 26, 2006 at Stratford General
Hospital, weighing 9 lbs._ Beaming first time grandparents are Don and
Lorraine Taylor of Varna and Ralph and Marianne Smith of Egmondville.
Proud great -grandma is Thelma Pryce of Egmondville: First time great-
grandparents are John and Corrie Segeren of Sebringville and Ken and
Ruth Smith of Egmondville. Also, Jocelyn is a special sweetheart for Rose -
Anne McNichol of Egmondville. Special thanks to Dr. Salsbury and his staff,
Jen Carter, Dr. Atack and Dr. Hillyer and all of the fabulous nurses at
