Elliott. The rine composed of W. C.

and Trueman Elliott won fourth prize,
thermos bottles. with 3 wins and 19
plus. E. J. Christie, J. A. Stewart,
W. W. Taman and. W. J. Heaman bad

BOARD OF EDUCATION.
The. Board met in regular session on
Tuesday evening of last ~week with
all the members presentk The prev-
ious minutes were approved.
Representatives of a chemical toilet
system were present and addressed
the board regarding the same. Chair-
man Creech explained that a change
of system had not been considered by
the board, and if .such, were don= the
company would be communicated with.
Applications were read and con,-
si.dered from tea,chers to take the
place of Miss Cowan, resigned. Mr,
Medd agreed to interview an applic-
ant .in Toronto on Friday.

was ordered filed.

received, considered and ordered filed,

The preparation of a circular let-
ter was left with the Teachers' and
Study Courses Committee,
The Fuel Committee reported the
purchase of a car of coal from R. G.
Seldon at $10 delivered.
The engineer's report on a school
drain, was considered and 'referred to
the Building and Grounds Committee.
