Huron Expositor, 2006-03-15, Page 23Correspondence Speakers from Communities in Bloom give presentation and make recommendations Seaforth and District Horticultural Society met March 8 in Northside United Church beginning with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Rev. Horst said grace and 37 sat down to a delicious meal. Speakers were from Communities' in Bloom so other organizations were invited. Margaret DeJong intro- duced Brad Knight, Bob Fisher and Barbara Dalrymple. Brad Knight showed slides of pictures taken around Seaforth and spoke on how we can improve, put flower boxes on the Egmondville bridge, repair or replace signs around town and make new plantings. We are partners with Petrolia, and they had sent canna to be given as door prizes. Margaret thanked the group and presented them with a flower each.
