Last Monday the new Government
regulations regarding the grading of
eggs went into effect. Hereafter,
F wroughout the country eggs will be
solder four grades, namely, 1, specials;
2, extras; 3, No. 1; 4, Nona. Spec-
ials well be eggs that .are guaranteed
newly laid. Extras will be a high
grade candled product. Storage eggs
will have only three grades, specials
being omitted,
The first •of the changes in the
stamp taxes made by, the recent budg-
et becomes operative on August 1st,
One dollar will then, he the maximum
tax on checks, bills of exchange and
receipts for money paid to a person
by a bank, chargeable against a de-
posit to his credit; express money or-
„ tiers; travellers' checks and post of-
fice orders. After October 1, post-
age stamps may slot bei used in, 1pay-
ment of .stamp taxes, for revenue pur-
poses. •

Nineteen thousand tons of Welsh
coal were !brought into Canada in
June, Large Canadian industries have
contracted for 10,000,000 tons: of Mex-
ican, coal the cost 'being much below
the American coal, It will be shipped

ped with Air Pressure. Water System, Hot Water Boiler, Sink, Pumps
Bath Room Equipment etc., to be, used in Demonstrating' the installation
of a moderate priced equipment for supplying running water, and the con-
veniences made possible thereby, to the sural homes.
