Adam Arbon My best Christmas present ever was a "Lord of the Rings" action figure set. I got the set for Christmas in 2003 from my mom. In the set, it includ- ed characters and the one ring to rule them all that Frodo has to destroy. I like the "Lord of the Rings" action figure set because the movie "Lord of the Rings" is my family's favourite music. The action figure set has always been my favourite and I hope it will always be my favourite. Mike Vincent Grade 5 SPS My best Christmas present ever was life from my Mom, Dad, god and Jesus that was the most exciting summer of June 7, 1995 my birthday. God, Jesus, love me so much they gave me this life till I die and hopefully go to Heaven. Not the other place, so I would say thank you mom and dad for a good life. Ashley Williamson Grade 5 SPS My Best Christmas present ever was a guitar. I use it at my guitar lessons and I have fun. I also love to play my gui- tar with my dad. I got my gui- tar from my mom and dad and they put it in a long rectangle box. I received this gift because I really wanted one and I worked hard towards it. The guitar music keeps me joyful and it keeps my hopes up. When I am bored I play it then I have something to do and it and it is really fun. I have to be very careful not to break it. I also need to be care- ful not to scratch it or it will look bad. The guitar was my best Christmas present ever because I never got anything like it before. Christina Schelken Grade 5 SPS It was December 25th, 2004 and it was a cold and crisp morning. It was 7:00 a.m. and as I awoke I heard a voice calling my name. "Maddie, Maddie. Wake up." It was my sister Alfie. "Maddie, it's Christmas morning." Just then when I heard her say those three exiting words I jumped out of bed and ran upstairs. There I saw three stockings overflowing. When I got to the stockings I saw one with my name on it...I saw chocolate, candy, in its golden wrapper and more. tut there was one thing that caught my eye right away. It was wrapped in golden paper with a red bow, sitting on top of a tiny box. Right then and there I knew what was in that golden box. It was the watch I had been begging my parents for for months at the Roots store. I had seen it in Masonville Mall. When I opened the box I saw a pink watch with a silver rim around it. It said "Roots" in big bold letters at the top. I put it on and it was just the right size. That was my favourite Christmas Present Ever!
