As of Monday the 19 -year-old O'Reilly has compiled 3 goals, 27 assists, for 30 points, 25th in the OHL point standings. "I started off really well, but then I went through a stretch where things slowed down," says O'Reilly. In fact, O'Reilly wasn't the only one slowing down. The Spitfires struggled through October with a 4-7 record, mainly because of distractions, in particular when details involving the teams hazing incident were exposed back in October, says O'Reilly. "It really affected our team, but nobody is thinking about it any- more," he says. O'Reilly attended the Predators training camp back in the summer and says it was a valuable experi- ence, as he says he learned a lot from practising with the veteran players. He says he's been "keeping an eye" on the Predators this season, and frequently checks up on them. As for the Spitfires, things look to be improving. If they win the next two games this month, the Spitfires will finish with a .500 record in November. Help us Support our Local Food Bank!
