man
Eric Chisholm, 27, of Seaforth,
was charged with impaired driving
causing death after a single -vehicle
crash on Oct. 16 that resulted in the
death of a 27 -year-old Goderich
man.
The crash occurred shortly before
2:30 a.m. on Porters Hill Line, just
north of the intersection of Cut Line
in Central Huron between Goderich
and Clinton.
Officers arrived to find that a red
1998 Chev Cavalier had been
southbound on Porters Hill Line
when the driver lost control and left
the roadway rolling over.
Three people inside the car at the
time required the services of the
local fire department in extricating
trapped people.
Two people were rushed to a local
hospital but one passenger, Aaron
Cousins, 27, of Goderich died due to
his injuries.
Chisholm, the driver of the
vehicle, was also treated for non -life

to the local hospital for observation.
The third person in the vehicle,
