Bell Memorial tournament
on Saturday, June 18
sponsored by Dundee
Private Investments.
The weather was ideal and
made for very competitive
games with close scores.
In first place was Don
Bruetig and Tony Verstrater
of Hanover. Second were Al
and Karen Fuller, of
Woodstock. third Dave and
Selena Ducklow, of
Mitchell, fourth. Bob
Thompson and Doris
Hackney, of Exeter, fifth
Rick Wood and Jean
Shillington and sixth, Fred
Tilley and Carol Carter. of
Seaforth.
District Provincial pairs'
competition was held at
Exeter on Saturday and
Larry McClellan of St.
Marys and Jurgen Fessler, of
Exeter won for the men. No
one contested Maureen
Thompson of Exeter and
Carol Carter, of Seaforth so
they will now advance to the
Ontario finals being held at
the Burlington L.B.C, July
2nd.
Bowling in men's pairs at
Exeter last Wednesday were
Dennis Schmidt of Goderich
and Neil Beuerman who
won first prize.
