The death of Mr. Walter "Whyte
occurred recently in Hamiota, Man.,
after a long illness. Mr. Whyte was
71 years and 8 months old, and had
lived in Herniae about 42 years. He
is survived by one daughter and four
sons. The funeral was conducted by
Rev. Geo. Lockhart, of the Presby-
terian churl, interment being made
in the Hantiota cemetery. Mr. Har-
old Whyte of town, is a grandson.
