On Wednesday morning. residents benefited from their workout at fun and fitness, as they do three times weekly. In the afternoon, volunteer Edna Dietz organized euchre games for a competitive group of players. A number of residents attended coffee and current events Thursday moming and the daily and weekly papers were read and discussed. The favourite seems to be everyone's horoscope, although one day when that section couldn't be located we had fun making them up and they were about as accurate. Senior diners drew a good crowd Thursday night and everyone stayed to enjoy the birthday party with Gladys and the Merrymakers. Friday morning Lisa Stewart, music therapist led her small musical group and spent time with several clients she sees individually. Alicia Vanderloo, kinesiologist, pampered several residents with her warm wax therapy for arthritic hands, as well as assisting them with their physiotherapy. Alicia is in three times weekly to work with residents. Sharon Martin provides restorative care five days a week, along with additional therapies such as Lori Burt, registered massage therapist, Alicia Vanderloo, kinesiology and Lisa Stewart Music Therapist.
