Deaths LAVIS, McKinley George: of Clinton passed away in Wingham on November 9, 2001 in his 85th year. Mr. Lavis was born in Clinton on October 26, 1917 and was the son of the late James and Mabel (McKinley) Lavis. Mr. Lavis was a longtime member of Ontario Street United Church and past board member. Mr. Lavis was a business- man and along with his brother operated Lavis Contracting. He is the beloved husband of Roberta (Plumsteel) Levis and the late Kathleen "Kelly" (Beacom) Levis (1992). Loving father of Mary Elizabeth and David Alexander of Kincardine, Linda and Jan Pavlinec of Pompano Beach, Florida, Laurel Austin and Alan Bell of Clinton, Effie Boshart of New Hamburg, Carol Burnside of Kitchener, Ron and Anita Plumsteel of Vanastra and Ken and Kathy Plumsteel of Sault Ste.
