September le, !M1 Correspondents Large crowd attends Cemetery Sunday A very large crowd attended Cemetery Sunday on Sept. 16 on a beautiful sunny morning. Visitors from surrounding parishes attended. Father Maurice Charbonneau began with a moment's silence to mourn those lost and injured on Sept. 11. Music for the mass was Dublin provided by St. Patrick's choir. Frank Verberne welcomed everyone. Following the service the parishioners could visit their relatives and friends' graves for silent prayer. Everyone was welcomed in to the parish hall for coffee and dainties. Congratulations to Beth Patterson, daughter of Keith and Janet Patterson, and Bud Schoonderwoerd, son of Luke and Mary Schoonderwoerd, who were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 15 at St. Patrick's Church, Dublin. weighing 10 lbs. 5 oz. Lil Wilton, of the Exeter Presbyterian Church provided words of comfort and offered prayers to help people cope when she led worship at the Tuesday church service. Residents also finished their peanut packaging work for the Exeter White Squirrel Festival. Over 1,200 packages were completed to be used as souvenirs and to feed the squirrels. This is the second year residents have taken on this task and they were pleased when Vivian Fremlin, Ethel McMurtrey and Lorraine Brock from Northcrest apartments in Hensall volunteered to help.
