Co-ed mush ball offered
this summer in Seaforth
Senior Shuffleboard is held at the
Seaforth and District Community
Centres each Wednesday from 1:30-4
p.m.

Minor Sports Registration
Spring is just around the corner and it's
time to think ball, soccer and roller hockey.
Once again the Seaforth Minor Ball,
Minor Soccer and Roller Hockey registration
will be held on Wednesday, March 28 and
Thursday, March 29 from 7-9 p.m. at the
Seaforth and District Community Centres.

Seaforth Arena at 527-1272. Also at the
registration nights we will be taking names
of anyone interested in playing Co-ed Mush
Ball in summer.
Dog Obedience Classes
The Huron East Recreation Department
will he offering beginner dog obedience and
agility classes beginning April 3 at the
Seaforth and District Community Centres.
Obedience classes will go from 7-8 p.m.
and agility classes will be held from 8-9 p.m.

Beginner dog obedience will also be held
in Brussels at the Community Centres on
Wednesday evenings April 4 from 7-8 p.m.
Registration can be done by calling 527-
1272, and the registration fee is $45 per
class.
Fitness Classes Begin
Fitness is Fun Spring classes will begin
during the week of April 17. Drusilla Leitch
will once again instruct the morning classes
on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-
10 a.m.
Drusilla will also instruct the line dancing
if enough interest is shown. Please watch for
more details on evening classes during the
spring. For more information please call the

United Church Barbecue
The Northside United Church would like
to invite everyone out to their beef barbecue
on April 29 at the Agriplex. The barbecue
cooked by Ron Williamson will be held from
4:30-7 p.m. and take-outs will be available.

Mona Alderdice introduced Margaret
Hayter who told us of the programs that
Town and Country Support Services provide.
Their aim is to keep people in their own
homes as long as possible.
The programs available are homemaking,
community support, friendly visiting,
telephone assurance, home maintenance,
Kippen W.I.
Meals on
Wheels, frozen
meals and also
"Lifelines."
Each community serves a meal once or
twice a month for seniors.
Nine members and one visitor answered
the roll call telling of a surprise in the last
month.
We are to bring gifts for the Children's
Hospital next month.
Mona read a poem, "Blame the Secretary."
Grace Drummond had a story on "Mixed
Messages."
Ruby Triebner gave the "smile" and
Marlene Bell conducted a contest.

Gemmell — Erb
Leanne Denise Erb, daughter of Mervyn and Dawne Erb of Brucefield was
married to Jeffrey James Gemmell, son of Kenneth and Norma Gemmell of
R.R. 2 Kippen, on Nov. 4, 2000. The ceremony was held at the Zurich
Mennonite Church. Accompanying the bride as matron of honour was

Fayeanne Beattie. Bridesmaids included Kristine Gemmell, Bernadette Erb
and Marsha Wolfkamp. Attendants to the groom were James Wilbee, Kevin
Cardno, Dan Upshall, Darren Erb and Jason Gemmell. Best man was Paul
1 McLlwain. A reception was held at the Seaforth Community Centre where
the wedding party was piped into the hall by the bride's cousin. We would like
to thank our families and friends for all their love and support in making our
/ wedding such a magical day. The couple is now residing at R.R. 2 Kippen.
