The Huron Respite Network is a partnership of ten local
Agencies that collaborate to provide emergency and
planned respite for children, youth and adults in
Huron County with special needs.
Position Summary: The Coordinator will act as a
resource and facilitate the objectives of the Advisory
and Management Committees. Duties will range from
policies, procedures and planning; develop and monitor
respite options; recruitment of providers; intake;
matching applicants and providers; maintenance of a
data base; administrative and budgeting.
Skills: post -secondary degree/diploma, demonstrated
accomplishments in coordination role with health or
social services organizations; strong leadership and
communication skills; knowledge of community based
resources; crisis intervention skills; ability to self -
direct.

The County of Huron Highways Department has two positions
available on the bridge crew and two positions available on the
road construction crew for the 2001 season. These temporary
positions are expected to last from May 2001 until the end of
September 2001. The carpenter, member of the bridge crew,
works on construction, repair and rehabilitation of bridges on
County roads. The truck driver, member of the road construction
crew, will work on several road projects. Both positions will be in
various locations in Huron County.
Qualifications:
- must be in good physical condition
a carpentry experience in form building a definite asset (bridge
crew)
'- experience in construction and working with machinery is
preferred
Class "D" drivers licence and "Z" endorsement (preferred for
the bridge crew)
- Grade 12 education or equivalent education and experience
