Children's Aid Society of Huron County is a not-for-profit
social service agency incorporated as a children's aid society and
licensed by the Province of Ontario to provide child protection
services to the 65,000 residents of Huron County. Each year we
serve hundreds of abused and neglected children and their fami-
lies with a comprehensive range of protection, support, coun-
selling, foster care and adoption programs.
We are looking for an individual lawyer, or law firm to provide
legal services with regard to primarily child protection matters.
We are inviting interested individuals to send us proposals.
Qualified applicants must:
•be licensed to practice law in Ontario,
•be well organized and have excellent time management
skills,
•have demonstrated expertise in handling consent and
litigation matters,
•have excellent communication skills,
• be able to perform effectively in a stressful work
environment,
• be able to work well with agency staff.
Familiarity with Ontario' Family Law Rules and the Child and
Family Services Act and computer literacy would be assets.

lawyer or law firm, or will hire a qualified lawyer as a part-time

on October 16, 1910 to William and
Marg (Trayner) Hastings. Surviving
her passing are sisters-in-law Mary

nephews. She was predeceased by
her husband Gus Redmond, par-
