Champagie, fancy sandwiches
part of Seaforth Manor's New Year
Residents enjoyed the
many groups and
entertainers in to celebrate
the Christmas season at
the Manor.
Decorating the big
Christmas tree in our
living room had everyone
getting in the Christmas
spirit as favorite carols
were sung while stringing
the lights and putting on
the ornaments.
Our Family Christmas
Banquet saw the largest
number of guests ever
attend and enjoy a
traditional turkey dinner
with all the trimmings
including Christmas
pudding and tiramisu for
dessert.
Bill Gibson entertained
following the banquet as
everyone joined in a
Christmas singalong. We
also saw a record number
of residents' families hold
their family Christmas
here in one of our activity
rooms.
Entertaining for the
holiday season were Paul
the Fiddler, Laura Feeney
and Carol Carter, the St.
James School Choir, the
Harmony Kings, the
Fellowship Bible Carolers
and Marian Rose.
Our staff brought in
several wonderful
Christmas movies which
residents enjoyed on some
of • those snowy
afternoons.
Our special Advent and
Christmas services were
conducted by Rev. Dino
Salvador, Rev. Judith
Springett, Rev. Sheila
Macgregor and Rev. Rob
Hiscox. Our year end
service was provided by
Rev. Nick Vandermey. A
wonderful Bible Study
was led by Rev. Sheila
Macgregor just prior to
Christmas.
Everyone • enjoyed
sampling the many wines,
cheeses 'and hot hors
d'oeuvres at our Wine and
Cheese Party.
Residents welcomed
Santa on Christmas Day
as he made a special visit
to each and every
resident.
Residents also
welcomed the New Year
in with a special
Lawrence Welk New
Year's Eve show followed
by champagne and fancy
