The ladies oi' the United church have arranged to hold a lawn social on the grounds of Carmel church on Monday evening, Aug. 24th. A good program of music, songs and readings is being prepared. The program will begin at 8 o'clock after which refreshments will be served. A silver collection will be taken. Everybody is welcome to come and enjoy a social evening.
