"although more volunteers are always welcome." A good turnout is expected at the Cents training camp. More than 100 invitations have been sent out and Parsons said, "we expect some key players to be there this year." Aside from losing a few players to age, the team expects the core of the team to return this season. Returning coach Jason Papple says he is expecting improvement in' this year's team. "We will still have a young team but now they are a young team with a bit of experience," he said. The league has undergone some major changes over the summer. Lambeth has withdrawn its entry for the season leaving the two divisions from last season amalgamated into one. Nine teams will now battle for eight playoff spots. Also changing is the rule regarding an pass. The Junior Development League has removed the red line this season following the lead from Junior B last year. Papple was not sure how the rule change will affect the style of play. "The intent is to open up the offense, but I'm sure some teams will just lay back to avoid making mistakes. It will take some adjusting," he said.
