Questions & Answers L.IiLV about grief recovery* terscaiy MI► M fops fisi/Iial Q. 1 have lost my purpose for living since my wife died. What good am 1 anymore? A. It's natural to feel 'purposeless after a major loss, particularly when a spouse dies. There is such a total adjustment required that day-to-day life seems to have lost its meaning. We are cut off from everything we know as "normal". But each of us is a whole and complete person. We have a life and a purpose unconnected to the deceased. it is difficult to keep this in mind when we have lived closely linked to another. We can help ourselves by reading self help guides and by attending a bereavement group, if possible. 'Questions asked during bereavement classes are answered here by the editor of AfterLoss, the monthly grief -recovery Helpletter For your free copy of Aftertoss or one of our other helpful booklets about grief recovery, please write, call or stop by Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth - 527-1390 A einekr sf 71k AfutL.n Family of Amend Hewn dedkaa/ n kIpiiN thew they row with arsinawce Olt rief 'tummy. 01997 Aftetlow Inc. • 800-263-9572 1 47 Cards of Thanks PETHICK We would like to express our sin- cere thanks for the many acs of kindness shown our family at the time of George's passing.
