in K of C hockey tournament

Hockey Tournament held in
Scaforth on the weekend. '
Nine schools entered 16
teams in .the junior level this
year. up. from 12 teams last
year and eight schools with
12 teams entered the senior
level of the weekend.

The tournament. sees
teams from schools and
communities enter and is
designed to give. an
- Opportunity for some kids.

. hockey. to play'hockey. in a
tournament.•
Several local teams
competed in both the junior
division.. played Friday night
and Saturday, and the senior
_division. played -Sunday.
The Junior B trophy was
awarded to a team from St.
Marys, defeating Goderich in
the .finals based .on shots on
goal after the gam_ a ended in

The Junior A trophy was
taken home to St: James
School after a final game that
saw Seaforth defeat Lucan 5-'
Seaforth competed against St. Marys in o Saturday,mornirig

Cole. Sherman '-& Associates Ltd. has been retained by the ,Ministry of Transportation (MTO) to
undertake a- Detailed Design Study,- prepare the Detailed Design—and provide Contract
Administration services for'the rehabilitation of l 1.9.kilometres of Highway 8_ from the east -limits
of the Totvn of Clinton to the west limits of the Town of Seaforth Of the County of Huron (as
s)iovv n on the map provided below):
Subject to' the findings "of the Detailed Design Study, the proposed rehabilitation consists of
milling and resurfacing, drainage •improvements;gulvert repairs. paved shoulders. and updated
guide rail
Temporary lane reductions and lane closures will be required during construction.
Thi.. project will follow the planning process for a Group 'C.' project'as outlined the Provincial.
llighilav's Class Environmental Assessment. (1992). The screening process includes public and'
res iea agericv consultation, an assessment of the impacts . of the rehabilitation ,and: the
