Seaforth Curling Club to host Family Fun
weekend for Heart and Stroke Foundation
Senior Shuffleboard continues every Wednesday afternoon
from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Seaforth and District Community
Centres.
Everyone is welcome to come out f'or an afternoon of fun
and fellowship.

CPR courses offered . •
The Seaforth Co-operative Children's Centre will be
hosting a Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid and
C.P.R. Recertification Program at the Children's Centre on
Feb. 24 and March 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. each day. Registration
fee is $75 per person. Pre -registration is a must by calling the
centre at 527-0682. -

Heart and stroke weekend
The Seaforth Curling Club is once again host of the Heart
and Stroke Foundation's Family Fun Weekend.
On Feb. 11 everyone is welcome -to a Soup Luncheon from
1:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Come out and have a great lunch for
$5 and support a worthwhile cause at the same time. On Feb:
12. you can enter a team in the Curling Bonspiel. Draws at 9
and -I I a.m.
Entry fee is $80 per team which includes your curling.
lunch and prices. Entry fees will be returned to each curler
who 'raises $I00 in pledges. For more information please call
Nancy and Mike Hak at 522-0936.
All proceeds from the weekend events will go towards the
Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Ringette hosts tournament
The Seaforth Ringette Association will be hosting their
annual Ringette Tournament Feb. 18, 19 and 20. Teams from
Southwestern Ontario in all age groups will be competing at
the Seaforth Arena. Come out and watch some great action.
Aquatic courses offered
Do you need to update or recertify your Aquatic Courses.
Some courses availableare Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross,
Instructor School, NLS, NLS recertification and instructor
recertification. Please call the Seaforth Recreation Office at
527-0882 to find out where these course are available.
