Why do some people seem to go through the grieving process so quickly and easily and others are devastated for a very long time? A. The process of grieving is unique to each individual. Considerable variation can be observed from one person to another. Don't make the mistake of comparing one grief-stricken individual with another, for their uniqueness is as distinct as their, facial features or their fingerprints. Signs for911 must be , installed this week By Amy Zoethout Goderich Signal -Star Staff In order to meet the September. 2000 date for the implementation of 911 in Huron County. all rural road signs and' property numbers must be installed by Dec. 10. This month. the county will be sending letters to rural property owners to confirm their new address. Bell Canada and the independent telephone companies will also be contacting property owners to ensure they have the correct addresses for emergency purposes. "In order 16 do that, the signs have to be up." said Sandra Lawson, county engineer at Thursday's county council meeting. In a letter to the rural municipalities,' Lawson said that Bell has indicated that any slippage in this implementation schedule will likely result in not having 911 in Huron for 2000 . and could be 'delayed for a least another year. - "We must all work together to get 911 up and running by September 2000," said Lawson. All roads have been named and numbered. but a number of rural municipalities. expressed concern about having the signs up on time. Lawson noted that if the hamlets need help getting the signs up by the Dec. 10 deadline they can ask the county for help. She added that the Highway Department is "diligently" working on getting the signs done and is available to help. "This has been given top priority," she said.
