Organizers soy the International Plowing Match and a few local fall fairs may be responsible for the reduced numbers attending. Various historical demonstrations_such as spinning, ' sauerkraut making, rope making and carving were offered as well as vendors of cider, apples and other produce, plants, crafts and yard sate items. New staff at Seaforth Public School include Grade 8 teacher Arlene Hoonaard, French teacher Summer Papple, Grades 4/5 teacher Alan Lutgendorff and Grade 7 teacher Bill Tcall. At Huron Centennial Public School. new staff includes secretary Stephanie Allan. Grade 4 teacher Mary Burton, hearing impaired teacher Judy Dunning, resource teacher Jeff Fordo. Grade 5 teacher Sonya McClinchey, Grade 1 teacher Leisa Stephenson and educational assistant Dianne Shapton. At Walton Public School, Wendy Meurer is the new staff member who is half-time resource education assistant and half-time educational assistant. Grade 4 teacher Krys Kipfcr left Huron Centennial Public School for Ushorne Central Public School and Grade 5 teacher Cathy -Jo Thom left Huron Centennial Public School for Robertson Public School. Transferring teachers from Seaforth District High School include vice-principal Rob Parr, who is now vice-principal at Bluewater Secondary School, geography and history teacher John Ball, who went to South Huron Secondary School. English and computer science teacher Lynn Gracey.-Who moved to South Huron Secondary School, guidance and science teacher Ruthann Waldick, who went to St. Marys District Vocational Collegiate Institute and science teacher Darlene Frketich, who is teaching for a year in Bulgaria.
