Best two of three playoff
GAME 1
Seaforth 3 at Wingham 9
Seaforth runs scored by
Tyler Doig, Carcy
McCuteheon and Bill Nigh.
Bill Nigh bit a double in the
6th inning • supplying
Seaforth with a momentary
glimmer of hope. Darren
Beaver turned a double play
at 2nd base for the defensive
highlight of the night.
GAME 2
Wingham 11 at Seaforth 1
Offensively, Brent
Coleman went two for three
and scored Seaforth's tone
run. Brent singled in the 4th
inning, stole 2nd and took
3rd on teh attempted pick -
off at 2nd, and was driven
home by Darren 13 who
grounded out. The highlight
of the night was Bobby
falr's running catch in left
field with 2 on and 2 out in
the first to retire the side.
Seaforth was a little
overmatched in this series.
Wingham 11-1 was a solid
second -year team that made
few mistakes. Seaforth 7-5
played well at times but with
the exception of 1 player,
was ■ first-year team.
Belmore rad Wingham will
contend for the "A" title this
year. Seaforth will be there
next year.
