Jewelry valuing $800
was stolen from a
residence on Concession`
4 in Tuckersmith
Township on April 21. .
Taken from the
bedroom was a jewelry
box containing an opal
necklace, a black onyx
pendant with matching
earrings, a pearl
necklace and several
silver and: gold
necklaces. The house
had been left unlocked
from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Brusself man charged
with harassment
A 38 -year-old Brussels
man has been charged
with , criminal
harassment after the
woman who used to live
with him reported him to
Huron OPP.
The woman told police
he wouldn't leave her
alone and kept breaking
into her home and
calling her on the phone
all day .and night, She
said he then started
following her around
and ,becoming more
violent.-
He was arrested and
later released on a
promise to appear in
court June 17 on the
condition of not having
any contact with the
woman.

Dolmage passes rod to. Lions Club for fishing derby

For the first time in 15
years. Larry Dolmage will he
sitting on the hanks fishing
- with his daughters Lindsay
and Sara rather than running
the• annual Seaforth trout
derby. .
"It's been great seeing the
.kids happy and fishing for 15
years but I've got two girls of
.my own who are dying to go
• fishing themselves now so
• -it's time an organizatien.took
over to run . it. says
Dolmage.
The local businessman
organized the derby himself
for 15 of the- 20 years it's
hcen held in Seaforth but this
year the Lion's Club will run
it.
"Larry'did a hell of a job
for a lot of years." says
Lion's spokesperson Paul
Steven.
Steven 'says Lions Club
members will continue
Dolmage's tradition of
patrolling the park'the night
before the derby to ensure no
one starts fishing earlier than
7 a:m. when the derhy.starts.

kids participating. judging
froth previous years and
depending on the weather.
He says this is the first year
the derby will be held in May
instead of on the • last
weekender April because the
Ministry of Natural
Resources closed fishing on
tributaries until May I this
year.
Children 14 and unde-r do
not need a licence and adults
helping are not intended to
he fishing. A child must
cutch and land the fish him or
herself to win a prize..
Other, rules include a two -
fish limit and no use of -lures.
