family, of Clinton, spent the week-
end visiting with the former's

crutches owing to a weakness in
one of his ankles, it having been
placed in a plaster cast.
Mr. Wesley Vale of Toronto, Mr.
Wilbur Vale of Niagara Falls, N.Y.,
and Mrs. L. Golby of London were
home attending the funeral of their
brother Nelson on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur King (nee
Miss E. Whiteford) and farixily of
Hamiota, Man., have disposed of.
their interests there and have re-
turned to Exeter, having decided to
locate in the East. •
Mr. J. G. Cochrane, who operates
a machine shop in Exeter has been
offered a good proposition by the
town of Listowel to take over a ma-
chine shop in that town which he
will run in connection with his plant
here.
