Juno -winning singer to support 4-11 with concert
Juno award winning coun-
try singer, George Fox will be
using his talents to help the
Huron County 4-H program.
The government recently
stopped funding the 4-1-1 pro-
gram which has meant local
fund raising efforts to keep the
costs to young people from
becoming to high for them to
belong to the clubs.
"This year, we've gone a lit-
tle farther afield and tried
something different with
George Fox," said Linda
Bailey who is organizing a
performance by Fox .1
Blyth Memorial Hall
24.
"He was a 4-1-1 1,,. ,, r in
Alberta where he grew up,"
said Bailey.
4-1-1 members tried last year
to arrange a concert, knowing
he was still supportive of the
4-H program but were unable
to schedule a time.
This year. with a new CD
being released. Fox is touring
and Bailey said the 4-H lead-
ers association was able to
have him come through the
arca this year.
Fund raising has become a
large role for the 4-H program
with the loss of funding two
years ago and may he the only
way to keep it going.

Q. How do most people feel after making their pre-
arrangements?
A. Whether they opt for an insurance program to fund
their services, a trust, cash or direct funds from their
estate, the thing we most often hear is people feel a
great sense of peace. This emanates from knowing they
have protected their loved ones from one day being
faced with all of these decisions. As one lovely lady
said after making her pre -arrangements, "This is anoth-
er way of saying I love you after I'm gone."
