Auxiliary Branch 156 were in
Exeter Sunday for the Zone
C1 Ladies Auxiliary
convention. Velma Young,
Clinton was elected Zone
Commander C1 for the
coming term.
Jan Stilling, Ripley is now
Deputy Zone Commander'.
Linda Kirkham, Mitchell is
now Zone Sports Officer.
Nominations and election of
officers of the Auxiliary will
take place May 6th (tonight).
Come out ladies and
support the candidates of
your choice for the coming
year.

board for th qualifying round
for the Zone CI golf

on Mother's Day May 10th.

Winners of the Seaforth Legion duck race were: Lindsey
Conner of London, first; Mery Bennett of Stratford, second;
Keith Hamon of Seaforth, third. Winners receive $500,
$300 and $200 respectively. The committee sold all 1,000
ducks for the event which raises money for renovations
and equipment at the Legion. The race began at Silver
Creek and concluded in Lions Park, led by Mother duck
who gave candy to the children who came to watch the
race.
