Mar. 19 from 3 to 4 p.m. Children ages 5 - 10 are invited to make people win- dow hangers and tie snakes. Cost will he $2 per child and pre -registration is a must by calling 527-1430. The Seaforth library will also be hosting Erick Traplin, a lively. rockin' children's musician. He will he at the library on Thur.. The Bast (from around Nepean/Ottawa area) team was the only one to beat them at the tournament, 6-4 in the final and also during the round-robin preliminaries in which the West finished with a 4-1 record. On Friday. Mar. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. everyone can come out and enjoy free public skating sponsored by the recreation department. During the second week of the annual "March Break" - •Mar. 23 to 27, the arena hosts free public skating each day from 1 to 3 p.m. So you can't say there's nothing to do. Come out and participate! Don't miss out on all the other activities for children during "March Break" put on by the --Meal rec departinenf and Seaforth Co-operative Childrens' Centre, Daily activities include howling, swimming, games. arts and crafts, sports. movies- and much much more. For more information or registration you can call the rec office or childrens' centre at 527-0682. Each department is running sepa- rate programs, hut will he together on some activities. The local Childrens' Centre is also offering a "Grow with Milk" program on •Mar. 19 from 9 to 11:30 am: It offers both fun and educational activities for children ages six to nine -years -old. Activities include cooking. playing games„ and art work. The program is provided by the Diary Farmers of Ontario and will be facilitated by the staff of the children's centre. Cost for the morning will be $5 per person and to register please call 527-0682. - Once again the children's centre will he offering a. hahysitting course. 1t was -designed by the Lethbridge- • Community College. and is -for students ages 1 I to 13 years and .will he facilitated by the trained staff cif the childrens' centre.
