(For our annual Winter Sports Edition) It's that time of year again - playoff time in Seaforth, and time to start thinking about having your team's picture taken for our Winter Sports Edition. The annual, ever -popular special edition doesn't come off the press until the start of May. And this always leaves us in a bit of a logistical pickle, because by then the winter sports teams have all disbanded and our young athletes' thoughts have turned to more spring-like pastimes. So we like to get the legwork done early - starting now, pictures taken or submitted. correct spelling of names, and those names corresponding to the proper faces. This si unds simple but it isn't, especially if it gets left to the last minut • There a ton of 'teams playing a lot of sports every winter in this town. That's a hig reason why Seaforth produces so many excellent athletes. We think publishing their pictures and names every spring in our Winter Sports Edition makes their achievements even more special. So far we've got. or arranged to get, some karate, high school curling, figure skating, minor hroomball, and minor hockey's mites, tykes. novices, atom Is, atom Its and bantams. But as yet flo ringettc. no bowling. no high school teams...and we're sure there are others we haven't though of.
