McLean 461 334 294 The Seaforth and District Minor Hockey Association will be holding its ANNUAL MEETING TONIGHT (Wednesday, April 9, 1997) at 7:30 pm at the Seaforth and District Community Centres. Everybody is wel- come. Minor Ball will be meeting on Wednesday, April 16at 7:30 pm at the arena. Everyone who is interested in coaching, managing, score - keeping, or anything at all is very welcome to attend the meeting. Minor Ball is always looking for volun- teers. The children would not be able to participant without the volunteers. Seaforth's ANNUAL TROUT DERBY will take place at the Seaforth Lions Park on Saturday, April 26, 1997 from 7 am to 12 noon. Boys and Girls 14 years and under are welcome to come and catch the big one. The river will be stocked with over 350 fish. Prizes will be BUCK & DOE for Tammy VanderVeen and Tim Prins Saturday, April 19 9:00 Lunch Provided Music by D.J. The Seaforth Recreation and Parks Department will be hosting an Advanced Junior Development Umpires Clinic on Sunday, April 27 from I to 5 pm. The clinic will be held at the Seaforth and District Community Centres and the Registration Fee is S25. This four hour clinic is designed to meet the needs of the more advanced Junior umpire (under 19). The clin- ic is recommended for umpires who hays previously attended , the Junior Development clinic. A short quiz will he written at the conclusion of the clinic and all those who pass will receive a card and crest. All interested participants must pre -register by calling the Recreation Office at 527- 0882. Brittany now advances to Area Level and will be speaking in Etobicoke on April 20. Best of luck in the next level Brittany. Just a reminder to Legion members: our regular meet- ing will be held on April 9. The meeting will begin at 8:00 p.m. Plan to attend. We need lots of support.
